Our Warranty
Limited Warranty – Uptown Flooring
At Uptown Flooring, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and take pride in the work we deliver. We are pleased to offer a One (1) Year Limited Warranty on the workmanship and services provided for flooring installed at your location, effective from the date of project completion, unless otherwise stated on your invoice.
Should any issues arise during this warranty period that are directly related to our workmanship, Uptown Flooring will correct those issues at no cost to you, subject to the conditions outlined below. Our goal is to ensure your confidence and satisfaction with every project we complete.
Warranty Conditions
This Limited Warranty applies only to issues resulting directly from our workmanship. It does not cover damage, defects, or issues caused by:
- Pre-existing structural conditions or faulty building design
- Excessive moisture, dryness, or improper ventilation
- Fire, flooding, water damage, or chemical exposure
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or vandalism
- Foundation movement, concrete separation, or wall settling
- Failure to follow recommended flooring care and maintenance guidelines
- Visible gaps, shadow lines, unfinished areas, or aesthetic inconsistencies resulting from the installation or replacement of baseboards, trim, or molding of a different size or profile after flooring installation, sanding, or finishing
- Natural color variation, shading, or fading caused by sunlight (UV exposure), including differences that may occur under rugs, furniture, or floor coverings
- Any outstanding balances or unpaid invoices owed to Uptown Flooring
To maintain warranty coverage, proper care and maintenance of your flooring must be followed in accordance with National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) care and maintenance guidelines, as outlined in the provided Care Card. Additional copies are available upon request.

This Limited Warranty is strictly limited to the terms stated above and as outlined on your invoice. No other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply. Uptown Flooring shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages.
